In other news...
The city of Cordova has had a double-helping of snow this year, receiving about 18 feet of the stuff! This is about three times the average for this time of year...and so much that the city mayor declared it a state of emergency and the National Guard was called in to respond! This is crazy, I'm truly in another world... hard to fathom that my Southern California friends have been enjoying a tepid eighty degrees...
Do pray for this mess...some homes have been quite taxed by the snowfall, transportation is treacherous, and in Nome, a delayed gasoline shipment has caused the fuel to be in short supply due to the hazards of ice...pray for safety...and a heat wave?
