You know you are in Alaska...when...
Recess is canceled not because it is -30, but because there are moose on the playground.
When the pastor closes the service praising God for the warm weather...
And it is still 25 below zero...and you have difficulty starting your car on the way home.
When you don't remember what ground without snow looks like.
When you can't wear anything but waterproof mascara...well, because snow is wet.
When it is a shocking 4 degrees (above zero!) & kids come to Awana in shorts!
